Honestly after watch the full season I can finally say with confidence that the time jumps actually hurt the show tremendously. They should’ve probably dedicate the full season to young Rheanyra.

last thing I’m going to say on hotd, but this all could’ve been avoided if the writers didn’t add a time skip between each of the first 5 episodes. they would’ve had time to flesh out the true character motivations and interpersonal relationships. 1/
