Can we take a moment and thank Louisa Terrell & Shalanda Young who were the lead negotiators for President Biden? These women are whip-smart, amazing, & the reason why we have a debt limit deal. We should all be incredibly grateful for their leadership & service.

Big benefit of having 51 D senators for the @WhiteHouse is that Democrats will control committees in the Senate which means they can move through judicial nominees (without potential for process shenanigans) and also makes it harder for one senator to be too all powerful

I don’t care about Hunter Biden’s laptop but I do care about Jared Kushner’s corrupt $2 BILLION deal with the Saudis.

Guaranteeing 7 paid sick days to rail workers would cost the rail industry a grand total of $321 million a year – less than 2% of its profits. Please don't tell me the rail industry can't afford it. Rail companies spent $25.5 billion on stock buybacks and dividends this year.

After the first weekend of early voting in Georgia, there’s some jaw-dropping data. Voters between the ages 18-29 make up 13.3% of the total turnout so far—more than any other age group. I’ve said it before & I’ll say it again: young voters will carry Raphael Warnock to victory.

Waited two hours in Henry County today to vote early for @ReverendWarnock with my mom, and it was worth every second. Get out and vote early Georgia!

If the rail industry can afford to spend $25.5 billion this year to buy back its own stock and hand out huge dividends to its wealthy shareholders, please do not tell me it cannot afford to guarantee paid sick days to its workers and provide them with a decent quality of life.

The Inflation Reduction Act will make real change in people’s lives—lowering health care costs, creating clean energy jobs & reducing the deficit at the same time.   This legislation will make a lasting impact on Georgian's lives.
