Three Village’s Summer Enrichment Program began last week, welcoming students to a mix of over 20 courses in STEM, the arts, cooking, and sports. Three sessions/day, two full weeks & a clear focus on joyful learning & social connection. A strong model for summer engagement!
It was a proud morning at Ward Melville High School as the Class of 2025 crossed the stage and stepped boldly into the future. Congratulations to all the graduates on this remarkable achievement.
Nassakeag’s Pre-K Enrichment students proudly hosted a STEAM Day on May 30, welcoming families for a joyful celebration of science, tech, art & more! Highlights included hands-on stations, a special song & plenty of discovery. 🔬🎨🧪
Setauket K–1 students wrapped up a marine rehab unit by supporting a rescued seal named Lychee. 🦭💙 After learning about her care, journaling her "visits," and spreading kindness, they watched her return to the ocean at Tiana Beach.
Minnesauke Elementary showed appreciation for its dedicated bus drivers with a PTA-sponsored breakfast, coffee & drinks. 🚍💛 Thank you for getting our students to and from school safely each day!
Congratulations to the 8th and 9th grade students at Gelinas and Murphy who celebrated their Moving Up Ceremonies yesterday. These future Patriots are ready to take on their next chapter at Ward Melville High School! 💚💛
Three Village celebrated standout student-athletes for their spring achievements, including county titles, state appearances, academic honors & community service.
Ward Melville student Violet Fortner was honored by the BOE for her bravery after performing CPR and helping save a life on June 2. Her quick thinking, training, and calm under pressure earned praise from first responders.
👩🏫 Sixth graders at Setauket Elementary led an assembly on allergy awareness for grades 4–6, supported by Project Illuminate. They educated peers on food allergies, symptoms & safety—showing leadership, empathy & teamwork. 🌟
Nassakeag 1st graders wowed with “Goin’ Buggy,” a lively musical about insects marching for respect and fairness. Directed by Mrs. D’Onofrio, Mrs. Oppenheim & Mrs. Rosner, the show was full of catchy songs and big heart.
Setauket Elementary 6th graders loved David Hagerman’s “Extreme Science” show! With science and comedy, students explored matter, electricity, and polymers through fun experiments—many even joined on stage. A perfect match for their science curriculum.
Arrowhead Elementary’s Flag Day celebration honored our nation with the Patriot Guard Riders. Students shared what being a proud American means through art. The Sign Language Club performed “America the Beautiful” with the band, and veterans received special recognition.
Fifth graders in Ms. Baldante’s science class at Mount Elementary used Oreo cookies to recreate moon phases, combining science and fun in a hands-on astronomy lesson! 🌙🍪
Nassakeag Elementary held its annual Flag Day ceremony, honoring the American flag and those who serve. Students Jacob, Michael & Rita Poat attended with their grandfather, Mr. Poat, a U.S. Navy veteran. 🇺🇸
Despite the rain, Ward Melville’s Pops Concert wowed a packed crowd on June 9 with pop hits, film scores, and choreography. The full music department joined for a grand finale, celebrating seniors and welcoming new members. 🎶

Nassakeag Elementary celebrated students in grades 3–6 at the annual Role Model Breakfast, honoring those recognized by peers for living the CARES values: Caring, Accepting, Respectful, Embracing, and Successful.
