So right now I'm getting Spain and Bulgaria.... 😲 it's pretty indicative of this season's #ESkip here in the east of the UK - seems to have been clouds forming in different areas at the same time! As a result I already have 14TB of IQ recordings to process!! HELP... #FMDX
So, thanks to #FMList I was alerted to a potential OIRT Es opening into the UK around Saturday lunchtime. My #SDRPlay #RSP1A has enough bandwidth to cover OIRT, so I tuned in and Belarus appeared... 😯 #FMDX ... nearly as busy as my local Band II

So I'm sitting at my computer minding my own business when FMList suggests there might be an opening on OIRT to Belarus... 45 minutes later and I've logged 25 catches. Then a thunderstorm hits and the whole band just goes flat 🙄 #FMDX #ESkip

Finally going through my IQ recordings from 3rd June (I've had no time up to now, *so* ready to retire!!!), and it's gradually being revealed that I had just as much luck as everyone else in my "area" ... 1/2 #FMDX
So I think perhaps yesterday was a good day for E-skip in this neck of the woods 😲 #FMDX It's going to take me a LONG time to go through my IQ recordings, but I think I'll manage 😉
And so it begins... I'm at work today but (of course!) able to monitor my S3's view of the FM band and look what's turned up.... an old favourite from Vesuvius! I'm sure more catches will make an appearance as I trawl the IQ files later! #FMDX
On 24th June this year I spent a pleasant day in the sunshine doing something quintessentially English... watching the cricket at Lords! I had a feeling that there'd be *some* Es activity so I set my R2 recording for the day I've *just* finished logging 😯 #FMDX #FMList
I'm wading my way through some Es IQ recordings made on 24th June this year and have spotted something I can't recognise on 87.8 - I'm hoping it's not one of those in-car mini FM TX monsters and this *was* in the middle of an opening to a big swathe of Europe. Any ideas? #FMDX
