What Is Spirituality?
Spirituality is quite the thing these days whether it’s mainstream religion, alternative or personal spirituality.
What a load of willies over somebody's opinion of a dish! I grew up in South Asia and people there can be overly sensitive to "outside" criticism of their culture and cuisine. Everyone's got a right to their opinion and, in the end, it's just a dish.
If the pics are of what you actually ordered, I gotta say that the idlis appear less than perfectly made. Needs to be firm but sorta light and fluffy-ish. It is indeed a boring dish in its basic form and it relies heavily on the dips (sambar, chutney) that accompany it.
