There are 365 days in a year. Teachers teach (quickly now, grab your calculator) for 167 of those days. On pro-d days (which, coincidentally I’m sure) fall the Fri before stats, I’ve often seen teachers from my kids’ school at the beach or at the mall. Teachers need to grow up

Myth: Schools have more days off than ever with all these PD days. Reality: Schools have mandated minimum hours that have not been reduced over time. PD days are teacher work days in addition to instructional hours. Calendars adjust, they do not shorten.
Equalization payments were created so no province would be left behind in confederation simply due to their ability or inability to create revenue. This demonstrates true Canadian values. Alberta hates it because this is the province of self interest and selfishness.
