I'm a skeptic on "biological aging clocks" and here's yet another reason why. A large trial of multivitamins shows that they slow down "biological aging". But much larger studies show that they do essentially nothing to reduce actual all cause mortality, cancer rates, or heart…

When was the last time you went for a long drive and came back with zillions of bugs on your windshield? I don't think I've seen that in decades. Have I? Or are the bugs going away?

10 years ago, we started giving teens $100k to drop out of college and create new things. Today, @zoink’s @figma sold to @adobe for $20 billion and @vitalik’s $180 billion @ethereum merged, reducing the world’s electricity consumption by .2%. A proud day for @thielfellowship

My best and worst trait is that eventually I’ll do it myself. Did we pay painters to do a job? Yes. Are they coming back a 3rd time? Yes. Did I spend a few hours filling and painting interior trim this weekend so I could put the living room furniture back to normal after 2mo? Yes

In the haze of being sick yesterday I ordered a rubik's cube, it arrived a few hours, and as of now I've been able to solve it five times. I suppose I thought it was more involved before but now I see, it's a fidget spinner with a few rules.

We also have to hold bad actors accountable. Full stop. White people: this is a moment of reckoning. You have people in your ranks who are about to sink this whole fucking ship and only you can end it. Step up. It’s your time to police them like y’all do the rest of us.
