Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems there is absolutely no way for average users to discern between bot "views" and real human engagement. View count does not make us feel like we aren't shouting into the void, like I am now.

I find Bitcoin a fascinating intersection of monetary systems, anthropology/sociology, internet culture, digital technologies, and increasingly, macro and geopolitical dynamics. It has its frivolities & toxicities, but it’s a real “thing” that has to be reckoned w/ & understood.

I feel terribly for those who took devastating financial losses and I'm angry at those who guided them to the slaughter. But every time a mismanaged financial entity blows up I feel better knowing that a predator is gone and any worthy companies have one less obstacle to success
If there were truly a foolproof and easy way to verifiable audit someone else's bitcoin holdings, then we wouldn't need bitcoin to solve the problem with trusted third parties...
