Over the weekend we lost Gerald Stern (Feb. 22, 1925 - Oct. 27, 2022), a major poet. On several Jerry occasions visited us at San Jose State University when I directed the Center for Literary Arts. I loved Jerry as a friend and a member of my extended family.
This is a book that should included in the curriculum.
