@AFP_Utah

Utah’s largest advocate for economic freedom and prosperity!

Thank you again to Koda Resources for hosting us in Vernal this week. It’s time to unleash American energy innovation and abundance by passing permitting reform at the federal level. The SPEED Act is step 1. Let’s get it done!

Utah’s producers are using incredible technology to power the West, but even the best tech can’t overcome unpredictable permitting. That’s why yesterday’s committee vote on the SPEED Act matters. More certainty means more investment, more production, and more affordable energy.

Great turnout in Coalville tonight for our cottage meeting with Rep. Tiara Auxier. Thanks to everyone for joining us and getting involved in the legislative process.

NEPA has become the antithesis of certainty. The SPEED Act streamlines and simplifies the approval process for necessary projects in Utah and the rest of the country.

WATCH: @RepMaloyUtah discussed how NEPA delays result in higher costs and greater uncertainty for projects. The SPEED Act addresses these concerns and will allow America to build. Watch her opening remarks here.

Two strong Utah leaders on the @NatResources committee to help ensure permitting reform gets across the finish line. @RepMikeKennedy @RepMaloyUtah

After touring the largest natural gas producer in the state yesterday out in Vernal, it’s timely that @NatResources will be taking up the SPEED Act today. The Uinta Basin is no stranger to government overreach halting projects that would help expand energy development. Grateful…

Thank you to Koda Resources for hosting our Road to Prosperity tour today. It was great to see their natural gas operation, learn about the economic benefits energy development generates in the Uinta Basin, and talk about the importance of federal permitting reform.

Too many people believe that government should solve all our problems. AFP believes much differently. Freedom and the power of the individual - the cornerstones that made our country the greatest in the world. Great op-ed from AFP CEO @SeidelSays afplink.org/3K8ek9N

Excited for our site visit tomorrow in the Uintah Basin!

Tomorrow the Road to Prosperity Tour heads to Utah, where Clayton will be on the ground learning how the state is working to meet rising energy demand, expand natural gas production, and where unnecessary red tape is causing costs to rise. It's time to permit prosperity.

Mary Beth’s headed to Utah next, where natural gas producers are working to keep up with the rising demand across the Western power grid. Blackouts, delays, and long permitting timelines show why we need faster, smarter energy approvals. It’s time to Permit Prosperity.

Working with people like Derek is the best part of what we get to do at AFP. Grassroots movements are built by those like Derek working hard to defend the American Dream.

Had a great time this week talking all things REINS. Enjoyed being able to lead a discussion with my friend @SenMikeLee on his work at the federal level.

It was great having @SenMikeLee join state legislative leaders from around the country at Capitol Leaders to highlight his work on the federal REINS Act. Thank you for continuing to inspire reform across the states! 👏

You’ve been a great champion for Utah. You’ll be missed!

At the end of my current term in the Utah Legislature, I will have served in public office for 16 years. Each election cycle is a time for reflection. This year, after my biennial deep deliberation, I feel the time has come for a new chapter and new opportunities in my life and I…
