Congratulations to George Gkogkos for winning one of the Special Poster Awards from Reaction Chemistry and Engineering in the #IMRET17 in Graz, Austria. The prize includes £200 voucher for RSC books and a free RSC student membership for a year.
Well done to Jacopo Piovesan, co-supervised with S Murdan @sudaxshina (UCL Pharmacy), who passed his PhD viva examination. His thesis is entitled “Synthesis of silver, copper and zinc oxide nanoparticles and their potential application as antifungal agents”. Many congratulations!

Our paper by Besenhard et al, demonstrates a high temperature multistage reactor, enabling control of FeOx particle size in a very wide range, as well as controlled temperature profile during nanoparticle synthesis, difficult to achieve with batch systems. doi.org/10.1016/j.cej.…
