mmm. I know what you mean. I’ve been nearly a hundred different identities. they all have a lot of me in them, at their core, but I do feel like I leave behind a whole self when I change. I do also actually change my appearance, however. even subtly.
i’m… still adapting i suppose. it feels as though i lived two lives, some part of me still separates then from now.
mmm. well. either way, it’s nice to wear clothes and feel good about it. how are you? how are things?
right… yes, fashion constantly changes and recycles but all time classics never lose their value.
mmm. well— I remember Dior from before I was… well. you know. it’s changed since, however.

no agreed. I way prefer these shoes. these in particular, actually.
i haven’t thought about that but now that you mention it, i would’ve loved some of those gowns now. and corsets. the shoes compared to now were horrible though.
agreed. I have to admit I slightly miss the dresses we used to wear but this is nice… freeing, actually.
very proud of my work. i could definitely be a stylist professionally.
“I’ve seen them. you can keep them.” she snorts, eyes following his hands like they’re a threat. one she seems to welcome. the gesture makes her look away, sitting up slightly and resting her arms on the edge of the tub. “remember anything yet?”
“as long as it’s not my precious jewels…” he taunts, watching her, trying to study her. calloused digits reach for a strand stuck on her forehead, sliding it behind her ear.
“just your bath water and dangerous chemicals.” taking a swig of her own and looking away. blowing bubbles away from her face. this isn’t her first drink today.
“jesus.” he sighs, placing the bottle on a shelf like she’s a toddler and cannot reach up there. “so..” he sits on the lid of the tub, taking a sip of his beer. “what are you robbing from me this time?”
she clicks her tongue and sinks under the now bubbly water, shrugging. “oh well…” she doesn’t recognise a lot of it anymore. 60 years in a labyrinth didn’t give her a lot of modern exposure. she takes the the beer bottle from him with a sigh, eyes dragging along his tattoos.
Remont returns, his shirt got lost on his way back by the way; now he’s got tattoos all over. “here you— are you trying to kill yourself?!” he snatches the bottle she was about to bathe herself in. “that’s for the damn toilet, woman!”
she hears it. of course she hears it. she almost glares after him as he leaves. her attention turns back to the bath and she looks around his bathroom for anything to make it somewhat of a nicer experience. pouring bits of miscellaneous toiletries in by the time he gets back.
“that’s my girl.” he unconsciously mumbles with a chuckle, on his way out of the bathroom to bring them a couple of cold ones.
she wouldn’t care. she might glare, but that’s more for the effect. “a much better offer.”
he’s zipping his pants back up when she turns. guess he’s peeing later. “beer?”
tipping her head back to look at him and reaching out to finally turn the water on. maybe a little in the wrong order. “no. not really.”
she really needs to stop breaking into his apartment but if it’s to lie naked in his tub, how’s he supposed to complain? “uh… you hungry?”
