Phew! We've had a busy few days with inductions and the start of lectures. We just wanted to give a warm welcome to all of our new students and an equally warm welcome to all of our returning ones! We'll be open all Michaelmas term, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Don't miss the @RGS_IBG lecture about the Jewel of Arabia expedition next week! This 30-day journey across Oman followed the footsteps of Bertram Thomas (1892-1950), whose archive is held here in the library! Tickets can be booked here: shorturl.at/1Y1Rr

Hello everyone! The library will be closed all day on Monday 18th August -- but do not despair, we will be back with our regular summer hours on Tuesday. If you have any questions in the meantime, please get in touch with us at [email protected]. See you soon!

We've had a wonderful time hosting students from the @suttontrust Summer School. We love to welcome our guests with book displays, so we've put one together based on this year's theme: "Global Demographics of Change - People, Movement, and Identity in Asia and the Middle East."
