Wouldn't be completely surprised if the Panthers go OL in the first round either. I know we've already invested a lot and it's not as flashy as a playmaker on defense or a weapon on O like Kenyon Sadiq, but we need to shore it up with Hunt and Ickey hurt
Again, I think Evero's quick turnaround of the 2024 defense more than earned him the right to coach it next year A lot of areas to add talent through FA/Draft, and hopefully our rookies see a rise in year 2. Biggest areas of concern are pass rush and 3rd down defense
I'm in camp Keep Evero. I'm not personally a fan of his scheme but I think a lot of people have been faulting it for personnel issues this year (lack of talent/depth + injury) His defense played to keep us in the biggest games of the year because his scheme elevated the roster
Dave Canales says Ejiro Evero's contract has been extended. Was originally set to expire after the '25 season. Add Evero "absolutely" will be back as defensive coordinator.
Being disappointed in a frisky first round exit after what the Panthers have been through over the past decade is just not feasible to me.
And we have so many obvious holes to address on this roster. If Dan Morgan has a good offseason, we can keep this momentum
