Prosthetic valve endocarditis with E. faecalis which grew in blood and on valve cultures after surgery. Also blood one time positive with VRE (faecium). Would you treat with Amp/Ctx + Dapto vs. Amp/Ctx + Linezolid or Dapto alone? #IDtwitter

AMA statement on ongoing attacks on physicians treating COVID patients
The suggestion that doctors are overcounting COVID-19 patients or lying to line their pockets is a malicious, outrageous, and completely misguided charge.
DO physicians, in addition to extra training in the musculoskeletal system, undergo the same vigorous training over 11 years as their MD counterparts through undergrad, medical school, internship, residency and take the same board exams to become practicing physicians in the US.
