Senate Resolution 14: The status of honorary member of ASPLU shall be restricted to those persons who have made an outstanding contribution to the students enrolled at PLU. Be it resolved, Haedon Brunelle and Carson Bergstrom are made honorary members of ASPLU for life
Senate Bill 32: Sex Traffic Awareness Seminar Claudia Lawrence will be speaking about the problem of sex trafficking that afflicts indigenous communities, missing and murdered Indigenous Women and other missing Natives: Men and gender fluid/Two Spirit Folks. Tabled for 2 weeks
Senate Bill 31: Funding for Sounds of Solidarity 2019 This would help fund materials for Sounds of Solidarity 2019. It passed 10:1! (one senator is participating and thus abstained from voting)
Senate Bill 30: Interfaith Games We're going to table this bill for 2 weeks so we can hear a special report with more information about this bill.
Senate Bill 25: Commuter and Transfer Student Senators, Article IV Bylaw Changes We've had a lot of discussion. Changing the titles of people in the senate is a big decision and we want to do our research before we come to a decision about this. Tabled for 2 weeks

Our office is going to be open to all trans/intersex/GNC students who've been affected by recent social media conflict until noon today! We'll be offering coffee and snacks in the hopes of creating a welcoming environment for you all. Please feel free to make our space your own!
We as ASPLU have supported trans, intersex, and GNC students and will continue to support them.

There were so many students involved in this process and I couldn't be more grateful for all the work put into this resolution. I also want to thank Vice President Carson Bergstrom for putting pen to paper on this Resolution and meeting with the Chair to get this going!
Senate Resolution 11: Support for the Creation of a Student Regent Position It passed unanimously!
This is massive. I can’t thank the Senate enough for support on legislation that will add representation on the highest level of this institution. This is a huge step for PLU as an institution and we have been happy to take charge!

Senate Bill 29: Compensation of ASPLU Senators We are discussing the possibility of compensating future ASPLU Senators. Currently, ASPLU Senators are unpaid for all of the hard work that they do. We want to get more input from the student body. Forwarded to all committees!
Senate Bill 28: Civic Engagement Conference Funding This would fund Civic Engagement Director Riley Dolan's attendance of the Unrig Nashville conference so he could gather the guidelines for the possible Lute Vote Director. Uanimously forwarded to Ways & Means
Senate Bill 27: Autism Awareness Month & Intersectional Neurology This would fund advertising for the events that will be taking place during Autism Awareness Month. This has been unanimously forwarded to all committees!
Senate Resolution 13: Lute Vote Director Support We very much appreciate the work that Civic Engagement Director Riley Dolan does for Lute Vote. This resolution voices our support for the creation of a paid Lute Vote Director to continue that work on. It passed unanimously!
Senate Bill 25: Commuter and Transfer Student Senators, Article IV Bylaw Changes We still need to work out the details of this bill, so it has been tabled unanimously until next week!
