Another day & another driver putting lives at risk, this one 09:54 in a 30mph limit on the A358 at Henlade! In the last 2 yrs (2023 & 2024) there were 876 fatal & serious injury collisions on @ASPolice roads. In more than half of these speed was listed as a contributing factor.

WDC (04/23) A39 Glastonbury. #ClosePass of a cyclist. Driver pleaded Not Guilty & as a vulnerable road user themselves (horse rider/cyclist) felt they had given sufficient room! Adjourned several times but heard at NSMC 03/02/2025 & driver found guilty: 4 POINTS £958 fine/costs

This is the moment officers discovered one of the occupants of a car they stopped had a firearm tucked in their waistband. Drugs and a knife were seized from the vehicle too and this week the two people arrested at the scene were jailed. Full story ➡️ orlo.uk/u6tJA

A teenager has sadly died after a collision near Frome. Emergency services were called to the A362 Vallis Road after a RTC involving a blue Mazda at about 1.35am on Saturday 8 February. Witnesses, or anyone with dashcam, can call 101 ref 5225034215. orlo.uk/5ivgb
