Yesterday we congratulated @NorthumbriaNHS for recruiting their first patient to the study, also @OUHospitals for their recruitment at John Radcliffe Hospital. Today I want to express thanks to @NNUH and @KingsCritCare who have also recruited this week.


Congratulations to the staff at Northumbria for recruiting their first patient to the A-STOP study in these very trying times. John Radcliffe also recruited today, equally well done! Thanks to everyone for your continued efforts to screen and recruit!

As we see 👆numbers of patients admitted to critical care with pneumonia + sepsis criteria, some with suspected or proven COVID-19, each of these patients is eligible to be offered participation in @AdaptSepsis if receiving antibiotics
