Also at the NARRU Annual Meetings, Dr. Erik Brevik, @SIUC, was elected to fill the unfinished NARRU Director-at-Large position previously held by Dr. Todd Winters, serving one year with Dr. Bud Kennedy from @ArkansasState.

CoA Junior Brittany Hirsch traveled with Dr. Rich to Albuquerque NM for the 2023 Annual American Society of Animal Science Conf July 16-20. Brittany presented her poster titled “Effect of Different Semen Extenders on Post-Thaw Characteristics of Caprine Semen” in the competition.

CoA alumna Amy Greenwalt Tallent was recently recognized as the 2023 Arkansas Master Gardener Agent of the Year for programs with 50 or fewer members. Amy is the Staff Chair of the Prairie County Cooperative Extension Service and lives near Hazen. Congratulations Amy!
