National Athletic Trainer Day isn't until March 1, but last night was an important reminder to applaud ATCs and other medical professionals every day. They work long hours and prepare meticulously over an entire career to be ready for a moment like that. We appreciate you all.🙏
@ATSMState I hope you were watching last night & taking notes. This was a very well-managed life-threatening emergency. You must be prepared for the worst at all times. You can never practice these EAPs too much.
Sudden cardiac arrest that appears to be “commotio cordis” is something likely taught in a 1-hour lecture in school. Every athletic trainer prepares at minimum annually to manage this life-threatening situation. Last night you saw the very best of preparation & teamwork. 🙏🙏
