We, members of the Afghanistan Women’s Light of Freedom Movement, condemn the brutal murder of Kubra Rezaei in Tehran. This is part of the systematic violence against Afghan migrant women. We call for justice and urge international pressure on Iran to protect migrant women.

در پی اجباری شدن برقع در هرات، اعضای جنبش خودجوش زنان در کابل و جنبش فانوس آزادی زنان در اسلام‌آباد به این اقدام طالبان اعتراض کردند. زنان معترض گفتند که طالبان با این دستور به ویژه علیه پزشکان و معلمان زن تلاش می‌کند آنها از جامعه حذف و آزادی‌های زنان را محدود کند.
