A rare Polar Bear showed up on the shores of Iceland. Police shot it! 🤬 Authorities considered it a threat to residents in Westfjords. It was the first one seen in the country since 2016.

AWP is saddened but not surprised to learn of the alleged abuse of a horse by a professional & much celebrated rider. Horses are sentient beings, capable of experiencing pain & distress. As with all animals, they aren't ours to 'use' simply as we see fit. theguardian.com/sport/article/…

Huge news! History is made as @scotgov passes the new Wildlife Management and Muirburn (Scotland) Bill. Scotland has now banned snares, licenced grouse moors and muirburn, and placed restrictions on wildlife traps. A fantastic result and well done to all those involved!
