Baffled by the AZ vaccine debate. Women are more at risk from blood clots from the contraceptive pill then the vaccine. Not seeing anyone clambering to try and rule that one out. Also ever read your paracetamol and ibroprufen packet. What’s a risk of those? Blood clots. BYE
Gav: ‘Far too many teachers are leaving the profession.” Also Gav: “parents please report teachers to Ofsted during a pandemic.” Gav again: “Schools are safe, we’ll sue you if you go online.” Gav’s mate Rishi: “Here’s a pay freeze for all your hard work.” It’s a mystery. 🤷♂️
If you feel overwhelmed with life right now then just remind yourself you’re a teacher. You don’t have time to be stressed. That’s not on your 100-item to-do list. When can you cry? Not now.
People slagging off musical theatre being on prime time TV. We are still in a pandemic & hoping these shows that reach millions of viewers will help make the public trust it's safe to attend & buy tickets once we are reopen...Save the negative energy for another time!
If you haven’t... - text a mate ‘I’m home’ - crossed a road to avoid someone - called & said ‘chat to me for 5’ - noted a cab/car reg - got your keys out in prep - locked your car door immediately - held your breath until you’re past someone ...then you’re a man #SarahEverard
Guess who created new 6 week remote learning schemes over half term for all of ks3 🙋🏽♀️ #edutwitter
I think politicians forget that teachers are actually people... We have our own families and everything. I actually don’t want to work longer days, weekends or have a shorter summer break because I actually want to spend some time with my own kids. Selfish, I know! 🙄
The Govt proposing an extra two weeks for the summer term is just having another go at teachers. They see teachers as child minders not educators. No understanding of the role. Most teachers use their holiday to recharge and prep for the next academic year. @NEUnion @NAHTnews
The comments on this are the best thing...all of the companies that replied 🤩
Why should bread have all the fun, when there's Weetabix? Serving up @HeinzUK Beanz on bix for breakfast with a twist. #ItHasToBeHeinz #HaveYouHadYourWeetabix
The gritter names this year are off the scale.
Why is there never any coverage in the press about the patterns of low and high infections and the link to schools? Summer... low infections, schools closed. From September... rate increases, schools open. January... rates drop, schools closed. It isn't rocket science.
*NB Schools don't want to close to look after ourselves, we want to help control spread of Covid-19, protect our families & take pressure off NHS. We all want our children in school, we dont need to be told that it's best place for them by 'experts', we know that. #justsaying
How are we allowed to go to the gym, fly in a plane, go on the tube, lay in a spa, have our nails done, hair cut? BUT not sit in a huge, high, air conditioned, socially distanced theatre.I get that we need to keep control, but why one, and not the other? Support US! @OliverDowden
So excited to be watching @FiverMusical this evening for their final concert performance. Interval drinks and Ben & jerries has been ordered with the boyfriend 🥰🤩
