"Traditionally" at this time of year, the 3 remaining stag hunt packs in England would be hunting hinds. Recent reports from sabs & monitors shows that their relentless pursuit for blood knows no bounds and both stags and hinds are being hunted. @SteveReedMP @BritishDeerSoc
In a recent auction held by the Stevenstone Hunt a day's stag hunting for 2 couldn't muster anymore than £50. Auctions with prizes like this prove that hunting is revolved around money and killing an animal is seen as a prize.
QSH desperate to kill @mendiphuntsabs ensuring they don't
25.11.24 Quantock Staghounds 1/2 Deer hunting has switched from stags to hinds. Today it was difficult to be sure what was happening as the QSH moved around the hills looking for something to kill. A final chase of this group ended the day without a kill. More soon
The QSH continue terrorising deer in the South West of England with 0 repercussions for their actions. Hats off to all the sab and monitor groups working tirelessly to document and prevent them killing
Hinds and their calves were terrorised again today by the Quantock Staghounds. But what they were really after was a stag. With a good number of sabs and monitors watching them, they did a poor job of hunting both and were hopefully deterred from taking potshots at fleeing hinds.
