Day 22: Not much progress, came from college bit late, added @clerk authentication to my RAG chatbot. Tomorrow will be adding Postgres vector database then will look into how to extract text chunks from the pdf and get it's vector embeddings and store into the vector database.

Day 20: >Provider & model management day >Built `models.ts` + custom provider for open-source GPTs: - 20B (fast mode) - 120B (smart mode) >Used `defaultSettingsMiddleware` to crank reasoning effort to high – responses feel way deeper now. Switching models mid-chat is smooth.

Day 19 #BuildingInPublic: Slower day, not much flashy progress Dove into message metadata - learned how to attach extra info to each chat message without breaking the flow. Created a clean types.ts schema with `createdAt` (timestamp) and `totalTokens` (token usage per message).
Day 18: > Reasoning + mock tools unlocked > Learned MCP (Multi-Chain Prompting) tools via mockmcp.com - super useful for testing complex flows without real APIs, contains a stock price tool that returns fake data (practice only). Perfect for prototyping safely.
