Our innovative product, #GAF, replaces the use of formalin as fixative. GAF is a non-toxic and non-cancerogenic fixative solution with #histological efficacy. The main goal of GAF is to protect the #health of workers involved in histological #fixation and health of #patients.

In the present paper, researchers from the University of Washington compared the #morphological properties of biological samples fixed with formalin or with #glyoxal. They conclude that glyoxal #fixatives are suitable substitutes for structural and morphological evaluations.

Recently, a group from the university of Georg-August-Universität Göttingen in Germany, demonstrated that #glyoxal can successfully replace formalin, like previously described by our founder prof. Gianni Bussolati in 2017.
