My tribute in remembrance - lest we forget.
Well done, they still fly the flag over the Middlesex Guildhall now the @UKSupremeCourt in tribute to the Middlesex Regiment. There is an impressive monument to the Diehards in the entrance.
Does Patriotic Renewal mean the Middlesex flag (bought by local people) will fly over Downing St, May 16th, again, in honour of the glorious dead of the Middlesex Reg (13th Middx 👑 Westminster) who gave their lives in patriotic service to their country? This year it was refused.
Vexillology is the study of flags. Heraldic design has been an interest of mine from seeing the Middlesex crest on boundary signs and school exercise book since I was 7. My country and county flags are a part of my culture and upbringing. Fly them kindly; respect them always.
Excellent - feel free to give Spelthorne a lovely colour too and maybe a tint to Potters Bar/South Mimms despite @SurreyCouncil @HertsmereBC @hertscc administering Middlesex territory they are still Middlesex 💛♥️
Parishes of Middlesex - colour grouped into modern day London Boroughs for which they would form the base of. Many parishes are ancient but some (such as Stepney) were broken up into several new civil parishes in the 19th century to reflect the growth in population.

Remembering a Middlesex Regiment’s finest hour ♥️💛 we will remember them.
The Princess of Wales’s Royal Regiment (includes the Middlesex Reg) held its annual Albuhera Day service in the Middlesex Chapel @StPaulsLondon. It was at Albuhera the 57th Regiment of Foot (West Middlesex) earned their ‘Diehards’ nickname inherited by future Middlesex Regiments
Please fly the flag in memory of @MiddlesexReg57 and in celebration of your own County of Middlesex ♥️💛

Every County has its County Day. In Middlesex we commemorate the sacrifice made by the Middlesex Regiment @MiddlesexReg57 over the centuries. This Sat May 11 at the beautiful Middlesex Chapel in @StPaulsLondon 10.30 am there is a service to their immortal memory. You're invited.
