Air Tech will be doing an upgrade to the “Fiber to the Home” network that supplies both River’s Edge and Grand River Estates subdivisions March 18th between 6am and noon. This will cause some instability.
Air Tech will be deploying another 25kms of fiber optic cable this spring/summer/fall to expand our footprint. This will include Bayside, Sunny Side, McIssac Rd, and Birch Hill to Port Hill. Check with us to get on the install list.

Air Tech Communications will have an outage from 11pm tonight until 4am Saturday morning. This is an unplanned outage that needs to take place to upgrade our “fiber to the home” platform. This will affect customers in the Grand River areas only. Sorry for the inconvenience!
We have a damaged fiber that is causing a small outage this morning. Should be repaired shortly. Thank goodness we have the in-house resources to splice and repair fiber.

Internet Service Air Tech will be doing an upgrade tonight, Jan 30th between 11pm and 6am Jan 31st. During this time frame, portions of our network will be offline. This upgrade is to better prepare for our “Fiber to the Home” service. Thank you for your understanding.
Looks like the wind is causing some local power outage in the Arlington and Birch Hill areas.
Just so you are aware! Fiber optic cable fed wireless connections, lately being referred to as hybrid fiber networks, are still wireless networks! Do not be deceived into thinking it is a form of fiber op internet! Does this ring a “Bell”?
Air Tech now has certified fiber techs. Certification was achieved by taking courses from Vistacare Communications in Halifax over the last several days! Good works guys!

Fiber Optic Internet to customers! We are now connecting customers in the Southwest Lot16 / River’s Edge Subdivision / Grand River Subdivision / Baker’s Shore Road Subdivisions and MacDougall Traffic circle areas including St Patrick’s Lane! Many customers have been connected!
We had a core device fail earlier today. We have made temp repairs and working on perm fix. System should be working with some slowness
Hello. It appears that services are back. I have been told it may not be eatable for awhile yet.
Good evening! We have been in touch with our up stream provider and their up stream provider is experiencing issues. Everyone is working to resolve the issue(s). We will update as best as we can!
To day we upgraded a number of customers to much faster speeds! Still have a few left to upgrade on that tower! Ryan did the majority of the work so many thanks to his effort!
We decided to upgrade our Birch Hill Tower to faster customer speeds as we now have fiber feeding that tower.
