We have had a really tough season. Late, wet planting, terribly dry July, but I can in all honesty say that every ear I picked today was exactly like this one.
I’ve had a man cold for most of the last 10 days. Yes it terrible! No my son has it. We surely got it from his kids. His wife doesn’t accept the gravity of the situation. I told him the man cold hasn’t been recognized since around 1970. It’s now just a symptom of our laziness
Left her out in a 3.5 inch rain. As a cattleman would say , that’s Andy clean! Should have seen it yesterday
70 years old. Now I can take that off my bucket list. Made a snowman on Easter Sunday.
That’s the end of the Queen and my 47th crop! And in my opinion everyone has been wonderful. It ain’t all about money
Silo filling slowed up a little at mid day. Had a couple minor breakdowns. Still not bad considering the 3 on the job right now have a total of 208 years of experience, and one is carrying a child.
Feeding cattle,, no problem. But the bird feed is killing us . So far this morning we have seen Cardinals,Orioles,Humming birds, Gold finch,Red finch,Wrens, of course Sparrows, Black birds, and an occasional Starling. Should have hedged in more feed!
I’ll start.. this is the tag my young Border Collie has carried for only 4 months. She would rather work than eat.
