Official Alex Perdue Fire Department we have 2 departments one down in Calabash and Denton NC
EMERGENCY ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE: DOT has told us they are shutting down S Moore Ave for a water main leak until January 18th. They are warning travelers to avoid the area incase the road sinks in more. This will be updated if any changes are needed.
HEADS UP: For Those asking about S Red Street it will be closed starting at 9:00 AM and will not reopen until January 29th.
We are warning of a road closure on S Red Street for a convert replacement. The roadway will remain closed unit 22nd or 29th. Use posted detours.
We will post the timing of the live burn training tomorrow at 7 AM before the burn

Good News Folks Spring Drive is now expected to be reopened to all public traffic by December 31st and not 2027.. Thank you to our contractor for working so hard on fixing the roadway.
A Big thank you to Mr Red and our Firefighter Alex for talking today on our X Live! We are so glad to finally have Spring Drive almost done we are expecting it to be done by December 31st 2025.
Due to cold temps tonight our church will operate on a 3 hour delay we will make a post again if a closure is needed.
ATTENTION: We will now be closed for the day tomorrow 12/9/25 due to concern for black ice and it will remain cold for the morning hours.. No Church Service will happen that has been cancelled.

Happening on Saturday at 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM a 4 hour parade will occur on Red Street and ending in the town of Headville NC. Roads will be closed for the event please avoid the area until 8 PM.
