Very excited to share my first paper, “Evolutionary rescue via niche construction,” recently published in TPB with @JeremyDraghi! 1/5 sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

Science used to be run by scientists. Now it’s run by career managers whose main experiment is seeing how many meetings fit in a day.

i hate that AI has now caused me to question the authenticity of cute animal videos online now, which is my primary use of social media. i don't even know if this baby penguin actually wore a beret to go buy a tiny baguette in paris

Great news, green sea turtles are no longer endangered! Their status in the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species is now Least Concern. The population of this species has increased by 28% since the 1970s thanks to global conservation efforts. This is a major win for biodiversity!

There are few things as rewarding as walking into class and seeing the look of pride and joy on Black students faces when they see I’m their professor! Being a Black PI comes with its own baggage that test you but these moments remind me why I do what I do. #RepresentationMatters

A bit late with this, but thank you to everyone who made #Evol2023 great, especially the organizers (@Evol_mtg). It was wonderful to attend a full-size in-person meeting again, and the virtual content three weeks before was pretty great too. See you all in Montreal in 2024!
