A privilege to ring half muffled bells this evening for Her Majesty. Half muffles result in a normal bell strike followed by a muffled one, sounding like an echo. Protocol dictates that muffles stay on the bells until after Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral. So that’s what we’ll do.
