Fascinating research findings incl men can get used to female leaders!! and that selection processes requiring people to opt out (rather than opt in), can yield improved outcomes @MonashBusiness
Is there really a male backlash against women as leaders? A Monash University experimental economist has tested this idea:bbc.in/2BhlKkT #Ad @MonashBusiness #womeninleadership

In Australia, when you reach your 100th birthday you get a letter from the queen. When you turn 50, the government asks for a sample of your poo.
Not sure if this is accurate, but wouldn't a large turnover of short-term immigrants for work/study/etc. put a lot of strain on an 'inefficient' housing market/system? Possibly more than looking at annual population estimates, especially Dublin's.
Annual non-Irish national immigration estimates and new PPS Numbers since 2002. Short-term migration would be the main reason for difference. Sources: cso.ie/en/releasesand… ; cso.ie/en/releasesand…

UK pop continues to grow from migration. But, EU-net migration (+74k) lowest since 2012, while non-EU net migration (+248k) highest since 2004. Incr nos. from non-EU arriving for work and study. tinyurl.com/y88bjclc
#Sydney projected pop under @ABSStats medium assumptions (series B) grows from 5.1m (2017) to 7.5m (2041) & 9.7m (2066). Age groups to grow most in next 25 years are 40-50 year olds
Latest findings on taking omega-3 supplements to reduce heart attacks - inconclusive. But, eating fish is still good, care where the fish comes from, oily fish like salmon, sardines, mackerel, trout & tuna contain most omega-3. Also in some nuts & seeds. tinyurl.com/y9rqbtf6
Another carrot in the population distribution game - Interesting variety of efforts to attract people to 2nd and 3rd tier US cities. Getting telecommuters into Tulsa is one such effort. What can Aust learn from this given our failed attempts so far? tinyurl.com/yah6az5p
Images are everywhere but do we have the skills to assess their contribution to evidence? Great read on importance of #graphicacy - being able to successfully interpret images (graphs) and the need to maintain humanities in education. tinyurl.com/y8jq3qbu
