This is very true. Most "satire" now is about making everyone "comfortable". The whole point of satire is to make people uncomfortable with the hypocrisy and double standards being satirised.

Actually @georgegalloway is someone who is incredibly principled. I don't always agreed with him but I have never had any reason to doubt that he says what he thinks and stands up for what he believes. Whether you like his politics or not, we need more people like him.

The Guardian came to my show and then refused to publish the review because they didn't agree with what I said. They came to slam it but couldn't say it was a bad show because I had the standing ovation at the end on video. All media are advocacy media. Truth is unimportant.
