Valravn at Cedar Point - I know people who love this ride, but I don't really see it as anything other than another coaster to throw into the park to keep pace with Six Flags Magic Mountain. Cedar Fair needs to treat this park like the cutting edge it used to be.

Hangtime at Knotts Berry Farm - I didn't get a lot of rides on this the last time I was on the left coast, but I remember it being a fun time. It's certainly pretty to look at.

Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure at Universal's Islands of Adventure - It's not fast or forceful. There are no 80 degree drops or inversions, but this ride is pure fun and remains the most popular ride in the park even after Velocicoaster opened.

Sea Dragon at the Columbus Zoo - It's an old family wood coaster. You kind of know what you are getting. If you are going to the zoo, check it out. Otherwise, this is almost entirely the domain of credit seekers. This goes double for their spinning mouse.

Orion at Kings Island - An enjoyable Giga. It won't blow your socks off but it doesn't have to. It's a solid addition to an already well-stocked park.

Voyage at Holiday World - The park fastidiously maintains this ride, and they have to. WIthout yearly trackwork this top tier coaster would become nearly unridable to all but those who enjoy a good thrashing. I had a good time on this one last year.

Hoosier Hurricane at Indiana Beach - My first trip to this park and I was very impressed. From the main parking lot, you traverse a bridge to get to this park that looks like an island but is actually a peninsula with a bunch of rides crammed in creating kitsch and character.

Wolverine Wildcat at Michigan's Adventure - My first and last visit to this lifeless husk of a park. Michigan deserves better. Their last adult coaster was an SLC transplant in 2008. 'Nuff said. Cedar Fair is running out the clock on this one.

Days turned into weeks. Weeks turned into months. And now here's my first pic in a long time. The always photogenic Steel Vengeance at Cedar Point.

Thunderbolt at Kennywood: With any luck, I might be stopping here inside of a week at the start of my grand tour in this topsy-turvy 2020 season.

Twisted Cyclone at Six Flags Over Georgia: I was supposed to have given this another ride back in April when everything was just starting to unravel with the pandemic. Hopefully, I can make it back there soon.

RailBlazer at California's Great America: I get giddy just looking at that crazy track. Nothing quite prepares you for how fast and agile those single-file trains are.

Hulk at Universal's Islands of Adventure: I like how they used the old track to create a ride entrance fitting of the Hulk.

It's been a long time. Things were looking bleak, but now that things are starting to open up I hope that everyone out there will enjoy our hobby safely and help prevent a relapse. Oh, and here's Copperhead Strike at Carowinds.

Superman: Ultimo Escape at Six Flags Mexico: This was the surprise hit of my trip into Mexico. It was instantly my favorite Morgan.

Storm Chaser at Kentucky Kingdom: Only got a couple rides on this one just after it opened. I hope to get back there to see how it holds up.

Thunderbird at Holiday World: Took this one during a walkback during Coaster Con a few years back.

Gwazi at Busch Gardens Tampa: Pour one out for Gwazi and look forward to what could be a remarkable RMC conversion.

Hypersonic XLC from Kings Dominion: A rare shot that also dates back to 2003. I think I only ever got one ride on this beast. I only remember the pain.
