Finally, progress. "No bribes. You were away for a while, I finished my work in the lab . . . and I missed my boyfriend." He gave a small shrug of his shoulders and leaned back against the headboard, gaze fixed on Mason all the while. "Ended up passing out while I waited."
Little victories. "Good afternoon, Mr. Stark. I brought sustenance." A kiss to the top of his head. "What are you working on today, sweetie?"
Lean framwork shifts slowly so he's sitting up, looking at the blond in the doorway - expression a mixture of exhaustion and amusement. A fond roll of his eyes and a signature Stark smirk. "Mayve I'm his evil twin, just here to steal you from him, or maybe I just missed you."

Not a skrull. Just a half asleep Ethan - tired and rubbing the sleep from his eyes when Mason enters. Cue a small yawn and a soft, "Welcome back . . ."

She's a blessing, truly. He hasn't eaten. Been cooped up in the lab for a decent portion of the day. . . . B u t he's slept for a change. Improvement.
