Being sick sucks. Takes me back to the years after learning I was adopted... I'd cry looking out the window wishing for my real mom. Had this crazy idea that my real mom would look after me when I was sick. IDK maybe she would've had she'd been allowed to keep me. #adopteevoices

Why, as an adoptee, have chosen careers involving rejection?! Almost got my "Big Break" as an actor. Shortlisted, but no, they didn't choose me in the end. Of course... in my brain = they didn't want me. I'm flawed. Turning here as I know only you will understand #adopteetwitter
It's so hard to have conversations with birth family when you're asking all the questions and they are just answering. There comes a point where the conversation dies. Sometimes I feel like interjecting... And yeah, I'm doing great... thanks for asking. 🤦♀️ #adopteevoices
