I strongly recommend that Albertans wear masks. We’ve undertaken many efforts to normalize & promote wearing masks the last few months. If you don’t already, please start today. Do it for yourself and for everyone around you. Alberta.ca/masks

I know that my Twitter TL is very much an echo chamber, but I can’t understand how more people aren’t vehemently outraged by every goddamned thing the UCP is doing to turn Alberta into a failed state. I don’t even have the words anymore so I’m just going to keep contacting MLAs
Hey, Hi, Hello! You can be grateful to have been born in Canada, and you can appreciate the privilege that being Canadian affords you while still supporting the dismantling of colonialism, systemic racism and advocating to give the land back. Thanks.
Ignore the glee that will be shown from UCP MLAs regarding this "referendum". Look past it and focus on... the privatization of Alberta parks, discontinued environmental reporting for companies, reduction in funding for both public healthcare and education... the list goes on

According to the UCP, closing 20 parks and privatizing 164 more will save $1.14 per Albertan. Jason Kenney talks about a "fiscal reckoning" but I think most Albertans are OK with $1.14 of their tax dollars going to save these parks. Agree? #abparks edmonton.ctvnews.ca/they-belong-to…

Just a shout out to essential employees today. Of course a shootout to frontline health workers. But sometimes overlooked are people keeping the lights on & water running, at the local utility. Train conductors and train engineers, truckers ensuring the supply chain stays intact

This so perfectly captures the experience of being a teacher in Alberta right now. I know that when I can't do my best teaching, my students can't do their best learning. I'm sure many @ABELATeachers can relate. #ABED
I don't think people realize just how finite teaching is. Yes, it *might* be possible to have high class numbers and still maintain student achievement levels. But there's a very real human cost. Here's my experience:
Hi. Just in case you haven’t had a chance to peruse the 10-2 program of studies, technically this question could be applied here. We identify multiple perspectives on oil resource development. Positive and negative.
The Education Minister is planning to introduce her “Choice in Education Act" soon. We have seen UCP policy resolutions become laws before, and we think it'll happen again. #ableg #abed
Edmonton Public Schools are short $34 million this year, while accepting 3,000 additional students. #abed
Here's the letter #epsb families were sent this week. Your #EPSB Board of Trustees will continue to advocate tirelessly to the provincial government for predictable, sustainable education funding. #publiceducationmatters #yeg
That was then this is now!!
This makes me sick to my stomach. The UCP are saying we should fund underperforming schools less. Kids shouldn't get a worse education because they were born in a different neighbourhood. The UCP just doesn't care. #ableg #abpoli #yeg #yyc #abed calgaryherald.com/news/politics/…
