Last night, we celebrated the @UT_Dallas Jindal School of Management's 50 years of excellence! It was a great night that inluded a visit with a UTD McDermott scholar who I first met on his visit to the State Capitol and a chance to catch up with one of my own former professors.
Access to technology opens doors! After today's computer givaway, thanks to AT&T, Compudopt, and the Network of Community Ministries, more families now have the computers and skills they need to succeed in school and work. 💻✨
Yesterday, I joined the 16th Annual DFW Dragon Boat, Kite & Lantern Festival hosted by the Marco Polo World Foundation. The event highlighted the teamwork & energy that make N Texas so special. A huge thanks to the organizers, volunteers & families who made the event possible.
