Earlier today, one of our officers was shot while protecting our subway system. I am relieved to report he is in good condition now, and we have arrested the suspect who put so many lives in danger. I cannot thank these officers enough for their bravery.

An Appeal survey of state prison systems reveals that prisoners in many of the hottest states live in units without air-conditioning. Only five states provide air conditioning in all prison housing units.

I am genuinely shocked anyone would tolerate this behavior by a public servant. @NYCMayor is this ethical? Is this professional? Does this reflect the kind of service you expect from your administration? What kind of institutional culture does this reflect and tone does it set?
The continued mismatch between @Columbia’s actions and the alleged harms remains baffling to the point of bad faith. And the tragedies the president laments below seem the predictable outcomes of her actions. I’m a proud alum, but I do not have faith in this administration.
