"Toe the line," Top of the circle," "Gate the line," and "Three in between- one on." mean something to me. No matter what, "Let's have a Great Day!" I represent my team, my college, my city, my state, and my nation. I am part of the long line and the unbroken circle.
“Turf from the football field is scattered on my dorm room floor. Hair curling is an art that I have mastered. I kick my hat, do jump splits and smile the entire time. I earn my feathers, my colors, and my place in my sister line. I know how to do the "Apache Belle Shake.
"I walk the Rim with generations of Apache Belles. I rise at 6am to run, train and rehearse- no matter what. I exude excellence in all I do. I wear my red lipstick with pride and my black and gold with honor. My hat and white boots are so much more than a symbol.
What do you do when you finish the last Belle Show on Sunday? We start football season on Monday.
