We look forward to the opportunity to educate legislators on the reality of the multifamily industry and assist in creating initiatives focused on housing supply creation and less on regulation.

No matter how you celebrate, AAM wishes you a happy holiday season!
Housing affordability is about supply. When demand outpaces available units, costs skyrocket—hurting renters, homeowners, and housing providers alike. AAM is advocating for practical policies that increase housing availability and keep Michigan moving forward.
Affordable housing starts with streamlining development. Overregulation and administrative hurdles discourage investment and limit supply, driving up costs for everyone.
Michigan needs 190,000 new housing units to meet demand. That’s why AAM supports policies that close the gap between development costs and what Michigan families can afford.
