🟩🟥After al-Hamidiyeh protest yesterday, more than 100 #Syrians gathered today in front of the Ministry of Interior in #Damascus to demand reforms, including release of political prisoners. Security forces brutally attacked protesters, arresting at least 32 of them.
🇧🇭 With escalation of #Bahrain protests, including a women's demonstration exceeding 100,000 a few days ago, chanting against the ruling family & government corruption, the GCC announced yesterday a $20B aid package for "development purposes" directed at Bahrain and #Oman.
🇾🇪Mass protests today rejected #Saleh's proposal to "solve #Yemeni crisis" by changing the system from presidential to parliamentary & voting on a new constitution by end of year. Opposition parties joined in rejecting the proposal while (Popular Congress) MPs resigned en masse.
🇴🇲In Oman, protests that started Feb 26 went on for 2 days in multiple cities, with 2 deaths due to rubber bullets in #Sohar. Authorities ordered releasing protesters recently arrested & promising to expand Shura Council powers & independence of the Public Prosecution office.
