This year, we particularly remember three of our alums who Fell in 1915 at the battles of Festubert, Gallipoli and Loos. They were aged just 18 and 19. We also honour and remember all alumni and the masters who have died in wars past. We will remember them.
Bang! Who remembers recording this pioneering children’s opera by Sir John Rutter? Recognise any of these faces on the CD cover? Its is 25 years since this recording was made…time flies! @TrinitySchAlumn @TrinityCroydon @TrinityBoysChoi #Rutter #Croydon

The final act of Remembrance 2024. All the metal poppies representing our Fallen former students & masters, have now been removed from our War Memorial Garden, laid out side by side & packed away for another year. We will always remember them. @TrinitySchAlumn @TrinityCroydon
Then and now. The Headmaster’s corridor in the 1960s and also 2024…….not much has changed - the rubber flooring is still looking in great condition. Do you remember the name of Oliver Berthoud’s dog? @TrinitySchAlumn @JohnWhitgiftFdn @TrinityCroydon #archive

During this year’s Remembrance, we recall the heroic story of Captain Ernest Bonny who, in WW2 and without any training, diffused multiple mines and booby trap bombs to safeguard his platoon’s progress in Burma. He was awarded the Military Cross. @TrinitySchAlumn @TrinityCroydon
Success does not come without hard work, planning and a great team united in harmony. To the Speakers, the Ambassadors, the Alumni and Development Team and to all our Trinity Bursary Fund Supporters - together we are unstoppable.
Our Reception for Supporters of the Trinity Bursary Fund at Mansion House was an outstanding success. We wanted to take a moment to dedicate this post to our young alumni ambassadors who assisted on the night. Teamwork makes the dream work!
We will remember them… As we prepare for this year’s Remembrance, our War Memorial Garden has had its annual makeover and transformation. Thanks to our Gardeners & Estates Team plus the Development and Alumni Relations Team, the Metal Poppies & lovely Cyclamen are now planted.
109 years ago this month, the Cadet Corps was formed at Whitgift Middle School. Their first duty, unfortunately, was to parade for the funeral of the three Currie brothers, who were killed by a Zeppelin bomb on their home. @TrinitySchAlumn @TrinityCroydon @JohnWhitgiftFdn

In memory of ROY & BRIEN CURRIE, who died October 13th, 1915; and GORDON CURRIE, who died October 15th, 1915. The three brothers were students at Whitgift Middle School and sadly lost their lives at home to a Zeppelin bomb. RIP @TrinitySchAlumn @TrinityCroydon @JohnWhitgiftFdn
We pay homage to a former student who lost his life in the Battle of Britain in October 1940. Peter McIntosh is commemorated on both our War Memorial & on a special plaque dedicated to our four BofB pilots, who lost their lives. @TrinitySchAlumn @TrinityCroydon @JohnWhitgiftFdn
