The failure of UK law enforcement to take action against these clone scam gangs is a complete disgrace. The same gang is behind most (they just change when they are cloning) & police / @theFCA has a mass of evidence (including receiving account details) from 000's of victims.

I reported my scammer to the police and the bank, APS Financial. Six months later they’re are at it again, using the same bank as before thetimes.co.uk/article/911c1a…

Only in the UK! Just a 11 year ban for a bond scam stealing over £800k from elderly consumers "This so-called ethical investment scheme was a scam, pure and simple. Sadly, it has robbed a number of elderly people of a large chunk of their life savings." gov.uk/government/new…

How I'm trying to make my money matter henrytapper.com/2021/11/20/how… This blog shows that if you dig a bit, you can find ways to get what you want. But you have to know what you want first! I want a fossil free energy future and this is what I can do right now.

So failing to stop financial crime should be a crime in its own right? On that basis, everyone working for @TheFCA should go to prison - right? @Carlier_J87 @MarkTaber_FII @markbishopuk @PropertyJedi @henryhtapper @b_c_chapman @thatginamiller

About eight years or so ago, “Project Bloom” was announced. A collaboration between regulators, law enforcement agencies, HMRC, DWP, Fire Service, Royal Marines, SAS and a Morris-dancing troupe in Gorleston on Sea. Then it wilted. (But the Morris dancers are still quite keen…).

A term loan is the basis for mini bonds: a loan to a company to develop something (like a property or some illiquid investment). Often an outright scam, or promoted and/or distributed by outright scammers. Examples: LCF, Blackmore, Christianson Property Capital, Basset & Gold.

When a litigation funder goes bust, does that force the question: “should there be a guide available on choosing both a litigation funder and law firm?” @henryhtapper @Carlier_J87 @MarkTaber_FII @markbishopuk @NeilFLiversidge @RedCircleFP @SIPPSSAS_Expert affinitifinance.co.uk

Astonishing that approval is so cheerfully given for acquisition of Quilter by Utmost. After all the scams and scammers they’ve facilitated/rewarded between them, IoM, Guernsey, Dubai & Irish regulators should try to prevent more victims - not create more. international-adviser.com/quilter-intern…

Depends whom you’re asking: a scammer will tell you “structured notes and opportunity funds”; an ethical, fee-based adviser will tell you “diverse mix of commission-free, liquid, regulated funds”.
