Theres too much emphasis on the word cladding, people do not seem to realise this is affecting people with brick slip which many may not view as cladding, Ive seen stories of EWS1 being requested for a victorian semi split into flats. EWS1 now trapping virtually every flat owner

@mhclg please would you point me in the direction of more info on the measures you’re considering to help people in blocks of flats who can’t sell their property because of the new legislation relating to the EWS1 certificate? This is causing a lot of people huge anxiety #help
the lady just now on @LBC called Victoria, in a flat in Lewisham-she articulated this problem so well. It is only now, that there seems to be a media interest that people are realising how bad this is. It is a very real problem and something has to change #EndOurCladdingScandal
