People think I'm kidding when I say there is a fascist agenda behind the promotion of AI. These devices are designed to kill literacy. We grew up in one of those rare periods of history where most people could read, and those who can read are harder to control.

Just your friendly neighborhood English teacher turned librarian here to remind you that literacy has always been political.

art doesnt have to Say Something in that you must add a meaning or its not worthwhile. art has to Say Something because it doesnt have a choice. art WILL say something, and if you didn't decide what its trying to say, it will say something on your behalf

people who think art has to Say Something

Friend from Missouri was recounting a high school story that hinged on there being only 1 nonwhite kid in his class. Halfway through, he offhandedly revealed the kid was Bosnian. The Rust Belt truly is the Baltics of America.

Democrats love to act like Republicans, lose, then conclude that the problem is that they’re still not enough like Republicans.

“Young men need a space where they can act traditionally masculine.” Mosh pits. “And express their emotions in a healthy way.” Mosh pits. “Where they can find community.” Mosh pits. “Somewhere they can gain a basic understanding of consent.” *STARTS DOING WINDMILLS*

Missouri voters elected Trump and Hawley while making abortion legal, increasing the minimum wage, and voting down a raise for law enforcement. What a state

You cannot create woke Lunchables. Lunchables are, by very existence, in contravention of God. Under no tree canopy or bramble thicket are there freshly-fallen Lunchables. To lunch ably, you must hide your face from the sky. We are trespassing our bowels with sustenance artifice.

This is disgusting. I was filming a video comparing Lunchables to Lunchly and was shocked when I opened ‘The Pizza’ Lunchly. The cheese had MOLD! The expiration date was still 2 months away! I checked online and found at least a dozen other people posting that their Lunchly’s…

Matt Gaetz should try not being fuckin horrific to look at first. Genuinely unsettling everytime he's on my feed, the combination of his worse-than-Habsburg jawline and freakish body contortions. I feel a great pain for the people who have to look at him with their physical eyes

Your political bias has become tiresome. Surprised you didn’t find a way to pick at Matt Gaetz again. For the umpteenth time.

The reason why the state of Missouri is willing to execute an innocent man is because otherwise they’d have to pay him a settlement for the wrongful imprisonment and then spend a ton of money re examining all those cases that prosecutor touched.

I distinctly remember a lore bit where the Boss used to dress up as Santa Claus during Christmas and give Naked Snake gifts, and when Snake ended the Boss, he stopped getting presents and thought he was permanently on the naughty list without knowing he essentially kiIIed Santa

This is a very nuanced thing and I'm wary of speaking in broad brushstrokes, but it really is alarming how much we reify traits about ourselves with this kind of over-identification. Most ways of being are about the choices you continually make, not what you intrinsically 'are'.

conversation is an art form and it's a lost one amongst many people today. if you're "shy" or have "social anxiety" then you need to practice socializing because it's a skill like anything else. the more you define yourself as "shy" or whatever, the harder it's gonna get.
