Last year I was diagnosed with ADHD. The purpose of this account is to share my experiences so other people like me can learn and grow.
Dang, I just read that it can take 89 years to get assessed for ADHD in the UK. People from the UK, is that true. How are the British ADHDers fairing?
Also, I am on medication. I take a small dose of Vyvanse. There are pros and cons to it, but so far it has helped me with several issues.
I don't think ADHD would be so bad if not for its biggest unseen consequence, which is stolen time. ADHD steals your time, the one thing we cannot get back.
The most dangerous thing to an ADHD person is.... Skyrim. Seriously, prepare to lose all sense of time and reality while you own this game. I have been exploring outside of Riften for like 4 hours with no signs of stopping.
ADHD is something that should not hold us back. Never feel like you cannot accomplish something because of your ADHD. If you want it, go get it.
