oh, it’s this guy. knew something was off

Can we STOP promoting LASIK like it's some miracle cure? No one should be getting LASIK, it's INCREDIBLY fucking dangerous. The industry LIED to consumers about its safety. I am LEGALLY FUCKING BLIND after LASIK. I have friends who have attempted suicide bc of LASIK!

we’d like to talk with you for a moment

Irrelevant because firing lasers into your eyes for vision correction instead of just getting glasses is grade A idiocy.

Tbf getting LASIK was the best thing that I’ve ever spent money on. Would I have done it had I read about the risks beforehand? Probably not, but I’m really glad that I did.

we need some context, but LASIK is more safe than internet trolls can ever admit!

I can’t believe his LASIK posting reached that many people lmaooo. I absolutely would never get LASIK and it is absolutely because of his posts can’t lie.

she’s right though! 🤷🏽‍♂️

so much lasik discourse, what is this, a site for sore eyes?

LASIK, LASEK and PRK are all viable options for laser vision correction. if LASIK is not suitable for you you can always explore the safe and affordable alternatives we offer.

I got PRK, less risky for very nearsighted people but longer recovery period I still have starbursts and ghosting at night, minor annoyance, but I can see very well all other times and do not regret the decision at all... highly recommended

surprised these kinds of people can even leave the house! LASIK is very safe when you let a highly-qualified, board-certified, licensed professional do your consultation and surgery.

yeah i'm thinking about it too, they have like 10 year plans which would essentially be less than paying for contacts so it makes sense? or i just do upfront but idk

lasik genuenley changed my life, it's also affordable for everyday people it cost me the same as paying for 5 years worth of contact lenses in advance lol

🤔🤨🧐

lasik can basically fuck up your eyesight

sometimes, patients just may not be a viable candidate for LASIK. however, there are other options that can help with improving your vision and getting you out of glasses and contact lenses!

my wife's eyesight is so bad, she was told lasik wouldn't work

a lot of the LASIK-related myths and horror stories are exactly that: MYTHS AND STORIES! more often than not, patients are incredibly happy with their results and wish they had done it sooner!

i stumbled onto lasik-horror-story-tiktok once, seems there's an emotionally charged counter-movement

this is also NOT TRUE! if you have healed properly after a successful LASIK procedure, there is little to no risk of the flap "peeling open", barring a significantly traumatic injury.

i do action sports and lasik adds an additional risk — if you get hit the wrong way, your eye flap can peel open. personally, i prefer my eyes unpeeled
