Surprise news as Jamie @BASICS_SCAS ER201 has been voted as the 2025 @scacharity @SCAS999 volunteer responder of the year for his work as a @BASICS_HQ Enhanced Care Paramedic. Thanks to everyone who voted for me, it is an absolute honour to be able to support patient centred care
Good to catch up with the lovely people from @HelipadHELP who VERY kindly funded the purchase of our @BASICS_SCAS response car ER102 earlier in 2025 through the @BASICS_HQ grants. This vehicle has already helped our team support hundreds of patients! @SCAS999 @scacharity

In the first SIX months of our responding year April-Sept our amazing Enhanced Care Teams have completed over 600 responses averaging 100 a month! All thanks to our Responders, their families & supporters @scacharity @BASICS_HQ @HelipadHELP @SCAS999 @HantsIOW_fire @MedTreeUK
September was a steady month for the team, some of our volunteer responders enjoyed some much-needed annual leave, and we still managed to be there for our colleagues and patients of @SCAS999 when they needed us. Thanks to the support of our sponsors @HelipadHELP @scacharity

August saw the team respond to 80 incidents. Considering the summer holidays, annual leave, and "life" outside of everyone's jobs, it was still a great effort by our volunteer responders. As we approach Autumn, let's see what September brings... @SCAS999 @scacharity @BASICS_HQ

We are proud to launch a new collaborative scheme between JHG(S) and South Central Ambulance Service Trust. The team have undergone intense training from SCAS to enable them to respond to 999 emergencies. #GosportMayor @SCAS999 @DMS_MilMed
Tonight was our summer team and family (Our number ONE supporters!) evening home made pizza and a small shandy soiree hosted by @SCASBASICSER201 and lets just say there are no photos! #TeamWelfare
Turns out my @SnowsVolvo V90 Cross Country is actually quite good off road (Every Scandinavian emergency service can't be wrong!) Did eventually get too narrow but saved a fair bit of walking (Still 6000 steps though) Rural responding life @BASICS_SCAS @BASICS_HQ @SafeResponse
